Objective of the New Business Manager role
• To set qualified new business appointments with Directors and Senior Managers of leading blue-chip businesses.

Objective of the New Business Manager role
To set qualified new business appointments with Directors and Senior Managers of leading blue-chip businesses.
Responsibilities
• Research potential contacts to include in the database
• Manage the contact database
• Develop a call plan
• Use the telephone to contact people in line with the call plan
• Send out suitable marketing materials in response to requests from prospects
• Follow up call lists generated by tactical marketing campaigns
• Diarise “qualified” appointments for the Sales and Account team
• Work in partnership with the Business Development Director to develop the database
• Send out emails/letters to confirm meeting arrangements
• Brief consultants prior to meeting
Qualifications
No specific requirements but must be an excellent communicator, capable of producing good quality written work, conversing with gravitas with moderately senior business contacts, together with a high attention to detail
Previous Work Experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a B2B telesales/telemarketing role
• Proven experience of working with senior managers
• Capable of getting past gatekeepers
• Can demonstrate knowledge of databases
• Experience of writing sales letters / emails to director level contacts
• Can demonstrate previous success against targets
