Video CVs help in career search

SWANSEA Metropolitan University will be using video technology to help more students get noticed by employers.

The university has become the latest institution to join the University Partnerships Scheme from video recruitment specialists Meet The Real Me.

The scheme is aimed at entry-level candidates and the video CV-making technology will installed at the university's career department on March 23.

Jill Nicholls, a careers adviser at the university, said: "In today's competitive job market, we at the careers service are always looking for new and different ways to help our students get noticed by employers.

"I am confident that a great number of our students will have great success in using the service."

Subscribing local and national employers will be able to view student profiles online and students can use the video service to respond directly to employer questions.
